The Ghana Education Service (GES) recently unveiled a fresh schedule for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for School Candidates (SC) in 2024.
In a notification dated March 12, 2024, the GES management informed all senior high school heads about the updated examination timetable. According to the revised plan, the conference is rescheduled to occur between August 5 and September 27, 2024.

It's crucial that regional directors of education promptly relay this information to all senior high school principals. Additionally, they are advised to make necessary arrangements and preparations to ensure the candidates are adequately ready for the examination on the revised date.
This newly set date supersedes any previously communicated schedules and must be taken seriously by all schools participating in the WASSCE. Both students and teachers are urged to adapt their study plans accordingly and make necessary adjustments to ensure a seamless and successful examination period.
